I love watching the spurs play. I on the other hand hate watching teams like the suns and golden state play. Lazy defense dosent get it done for me. But in the sport of boxing you kind of want to see some big blows.

Mayweather fights always make their backers money, if you backed him 41 times that 41 winners, how many other people in sport are as reliable. Who cares if someone personally find it boring or exciting, he's one of the greatest talents boxing has ever seen. His speed and accuracy is unreal, moves faster than any of his opponents and strikes like a snake hunting its prey. If you understand boxing or have boxed even at amateur level you can appreciate what a great boxer he is.

It's like they said during the fight many times, Mayweather simply just chooses to out-boxing opponents rather than out-fighting them. And the marvel of his defense and counter punching is an absolute art. Sadly most people except the real fans can appreciate such details.

Floyd may be a great tactical boxer but his fights are boring to me. I didn't watch this one live. I will watch it later. I want to see him fight Pacquiao. I lost interest in this fight after the 8th round and quit watching it because I knew Mayweather would get the decision and there would be no knockout. I was watching the fight at a casino and I went and gambled instead of watching the last 4 rounds of this boring fight. Mosley started off strong, but his stamina showed after the 5th round.

Mayweather has actually done more toe-to-toe fighting his last few times out. Since the De la Hoya snore fest, he has been much more willing to stand in there with his opponents. The problem is he still completely outclasses most of his competition so the fights are still very one-sided.

Unfortunately many people come to boxing looking for an exciting fight, but that is not what the sport is about it is about earning points like any other sport which many times does not lead to an exciting fight.

But for those who can appreciate the skill and technique required it is a very entertaining sport.
