Agreed, his peripherals aren't all that great ( 4.5 BB/9; 1.46 K/BB); hes been lucky (0% HR/FB; 249 BaBip, 90% LOB) .

He has added a Spilt Finger this year, so its hard to tell whether that pitch will continue to make a difference once batters get used to him throwing it.

How can you say the mets are the best team in baseball one month into the season... Phillies win the division with the Braves and marlins right after them... The mets pitching will catch up with them sooner or later...
