Only posted this because Trump won all but 5 counties, the voter turnout in MPLS being the difference...
              82% seems ridiculous

Isn't voter turnout the percentage of the eligible registered voters? I don't think it means 250k of a cities 310k population voted. It would mean 82% of the registered adults of the 310k.
At least that's how I interpret percentage of voter turnout.

No its started after Pawlenty won reelection giving MN 4 straight GOP govs and the Coleman/ Franken "ballots in trunk" scandal, again in MPLS.

Any other cities showing 80% + turnout?

It really flew in the face of the Statewide shift right

I think my state hardly ever has more than 50% turnout in the primaries or special elections. I know this past primary there was a hot mess of a battle for the dem senate between Amy and Booker. Amy edged him out. All kinds of people in Louisville were crying foul and voter suppression and blah blah blah. But early in-person voting was open for a whole week before the primary, and still I think Jefferson county had less than 40% turnout.

                                                The 90% turnout is bullshit.

I went and voted and didn't stand in line for more than 3 minutes.

My mom and brother never even voted because the weather was too nice.

After the the voting process is done it needs to be respected. When Trump won in 2016 the other side fought tooth and nail to get rid of him from the first minute.

I do not ask a question of my friends / "Are you a democrat or republican". It seems to be like a feud between the Hatfields and the McCoys in government?

What would it take to actually have the country work together? Would it take one party to control all 3 levels of government? Seems like such a waste of time having to play all of these domination and threatening warnings just to pass a lousy budget or get a stimulus package.

if Trump does not win he will just tell the congress to shove the stimulus.
