    Golf question ?
    Playing, not gambling....

You golfing dudes like to play with your own clubs right ?

How the hell do you take the equipment with you on a flight ?

Must cost like $100 extra each way for a golf bag ?

I know you Golfing guys are extreme, like spending $300 or something for one club, so you want your own stuff, and a lot of it. I understand that.....but how do you move it around on vacation, without getting raped ?

I'm more of a billiards guy ( inactive), never near the pro level, but I could take my favorite stick pretty easily on a plane.

Skiers must be ****ed too...how much to fly my skis from Vermont to Colorado ?

Not every airline charges for a 2nd bag.

I basically am axing what you have to pay to fly your bag around ?

Say I'm, BTJ....going to Fla in the winter...I want my own clubs, ...might have 3k+ in the bag...you need your stuff, I get it.

$200 to fly your stuff seems a bit stiff ?

SW must charge for a golf bag....not really a standard dimension bag.

I fly with my clubs 3/4 times a year...and I usually fly Delta.

Delta does not charge an "excessive luggage fee" unless my bag would exceed 62 inches and 70 pounds.

My clubs fit into a standard plastic case and I check them. Standard baggage fees apply----in other words---no different than checking a simple suitcase.

Just got back from Vail CO about a month ago. Flew Southwest, and hate to say it, but my bags flew free. Even the skies. Not sure about other flights, I'm sure $50-$100, but Southwest was up to two bags free.
