    Observations from the American Southwest
Made it to Alamogordo New Mexico
What a dirty, dusty, desolate town in the middle of nowhere but not a illegal in sight
    NO WORK
    Wallmart saw to that
Flew into El Paso and for being so close to Juarez it is a very clean city, unfortunately All the smog from Mexico makes it like a small LA
Not my first time out here and it still amazes me the total desolation between El Paso and Alamogordo
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING even the ride between Vegas and Laughlin you hit 2 towns
your completely screwed if you break down out here
Good to see my old man
But I still have no clue WTF he's doing out here
I guess if you grow up in North Philadelphia across from Eastern State Penitentiary and what to get away from it all, you can't pick a better spot
Once again I will see if I can get him to go pph for the upcoming football season
just to free up his weekends
I don't know if its worth it plus I think he likes something to do those weekends in the fall
anyway it's good to see the country and probably will head up to the Apache reservation for $10 cartons of smokes and check out Ruidoso downs for some ACTION

Im from East TN. First time I went out west I was amazed. Nothing but desert for miles in certain places in West Texas & New Mexico. No mountains, no anything. A straight road for as far as you could see. I'm used to zig zag roads curving around a mountain

I wouldn't wanna go anywhere west unless it's a legit major city like Vegas, or LA

Bessy is pregnant now. She churns less butter. Molly chopping the lumber now as I been gathering nuggets from the mine and Bobby Sue is out selling the cakes at the markets.

Been a long winter now. Might have to take the stage coach back to Carson City soon.
