If they are as sharp as you say they are likely sharp enough to send out word of their sharp play on a betting forum and run the line down creating more value in the real side of the line that they liked which would be the over.

Sharps usually don't hand out their sharp plays, this is very common at the horse races where a sharp will tell people he likes a horse other than the horse he really likes ultimately increasing the value in his original choice.
