James told TNT after the game that he would have the arm examined, possibly with an MRI while the Bulls wait for their second-round series against Boston. He said the elbow injury -- which he described as like hitting your funny bone -- is something he's been dealing with for a few weeks

He just wanted to the Bulls up with that shot and then when it missed he faked the injury to not look like an idiot. His elbow was perfectly fine on the first FT.

EXACTLY. Sharp post right here. If he makes that shot he doesnt act like his arm hurts. Get over yourself, Lebron.

You guys are idiots if you think it's just an act. He wouldn't shoot an important free throw left-handed if he didn't have to. He has had tendonitis in his right elbow for about a month now. If any of you have ever had it you know that sometimes you can take a hit that basically makes you lose feeling in the arm. He'll get massages over the next few days to stimulate the muscles and will probably get a cortizone shot before the game on Saturday.

He had nothing to gain by faking anything. He wasn't trying to get a call or anything like that, he just lost feeling in his arm. Everyone defends Kobe's poor performance because of a measly arthritic knuckle but when Lebron loses feeling in his arm he's faking it? Double standard much?

I think he did a Colt McCoy.
If his arm was that badly hurt he should have taken a time out. His arm looked alright on the first free throw. I think he may have thought Chicago didn't have any timeouts and he missed on purpose so they would have to dribble down the court and eat clock. Once he saw they had a timeout he looked dumbfounded. He even said something to Mike Brown asking about a timeout. He either thought he should have used one or that he didn't know Chicago had one left.

Williams - I'm a huge Lebron fan but that shit was suspect. I know his elbow has been hurting him the past month but I think he used it as an excuse over a stupid shot. Why he shot up a left handed free throw is beyond me but I don't think his elbow went numb all of a sudden especially when he shot the first free throw with no problem.
I agree, He does act like a drama queen when he get's fouled. But so does the majority of stars in the league.

That is a common belief
He shot foul shot left late in game a show
They got a real team coming in next so if he thinks he is going to clown around he is in for a shock

If you watch the tape you will see that he fell on the defensive end towards the end of the game and banged the elbow in the process. He described the feeling as being hit in the funny bone only the pain lasts much longer. The Cavs do not expect him to miss any time, plus I can guarantee he will be on the floor in game 1 regardless of the elbow because he is dying to go at Boston after their last meeting. This series is going to be physical and ugly.
