    Sanchez defeats Doc Halladay 5-1
San Francisco left hander Jonathan "filthy" Sanchez was stellar at Citizens Bank Ballpark on Monday evening, scattering 3 hits over 5 innings and striking out 6, as he beasted Doc Halladay, handing him his first loss of the season.

Not only a great win for the Giants, but a great win for Tim Lincecum, as he is now the front runner in the National League Cy Young race.

    San Francisco beat Philadelphia, 5-1.

The game was in SF not Philly...... additionally Tim is sure to have a bad game shortly and the race will be back on. I would be surprised if a dark horse canidate won the NLCY this year but the race is far from over.
