The very dry air of the desert holds little moisture and thus holds little heat so as soon as the sun sets, the desert cools considerably. Clear, cloudless skies also help to quickly release heat at night. Mos deserts have very low temperatures at night.

I notice at the border it's just a quick check of the obvious things. They ask a few questions, if you look legit you can go through. Its very congested & alot of people trying to get in & out of Mexico.
Now you get up the road about 100 miles, there's only 2-3 major highways out of South Texas heading north and nothing but desert for miles around. So that's where they put you through the ringer. If you are taking drugs from Matamorras,Mexico through Brownsville, that's about as far as you will get with them. But people are taking them by car to bigger cities, so they have to go through these less congested checkpoints.
The trick is to be calm, cool, & collected & know how to hide coke from dogs. Pills are easy to transport.
One day I will write a book on it when the statute of limitations is up

No humidity makes for very hot days like an oven & cool nights. Plus, it just feels even colder because of the heat of the day.
When it's 60 in the day & 42 at night that's comfortable. When it's 90 in the day & 50 at night you're fukin freezin!
