Shows you how much respect they are giving to the Bulls.
The way LeBron James and some media made it sound, you'd think the reigning NBA MVP was going to lock himself up in his Chicago hotel room during the Cavs playoff series against the Bulls and stay away from the clubs. But don't think just because "LeBron hasn't smiled at a news conference since the regular season ended," according to an ESPN The Magazine writer, he's going to waste his stay in Chicago.
King James went shopping at Barneys New York in the Gold Coast on Friday and then checked out some of the city's trendiest spots later that night, beginning with River North restaurant Sunda. After dinner, he hit a ChiIL Productions party at Bon V and then headed to the super-exclusive Cuvee, which is where he hung out earlier this month.
While at Cuvee, a customer bought James a 9-liter bottle of Perrier Jouet champagne and requested the Bulls' player intro song ("AND NOOOW...") be played as staff brought him the champagne with sparklers. James, who stayed at the club until almost 3 a.m., got a laugh out of the gesture.
The Cavs' Mo Williams and Antawn Jamison also partied at Cuvee that night, as did the Golden State Warriors' Corey Maggette, a Fenwick High School alum, and ex-Bull Chris Duhon, now with the New York Knicks.
