It has changed over the years. Nebraska used to be tough. I'd go with LSU, Hawaii, Boise St., Notre Dame, and Washington.

Now here's something I know a little bit about. I went to a Big Ten, SEC, and ACC school, and would say the 5 most difficult places to play would be (in no particular order): Florida, Hawaii, LSU, Tennessee, and Ohio State (OSU is just substantially rowdier and louder than Michigan). So as not to upset our Saban lover my 6th choice would have been Alabama.
By the way...LSU, Florida, and Ohio State fans act like such assholes that it's just simply no fun to go there. LSU even goes so far as to piss in cups and throw it on road fans. I really think the way those three schools in particular act on game days really takes away from their academic credibility to a certain degree.

I would have to say with Hawaii.
The travel schedule and the time zone factors most of those road team that come to the island have to endure is brutal.

i haven't been to many games outside of kentucky, but like BBD said, i've heard Hawaii is tough because of the time change and all. but i would go with any team who has 90k plus fans.

I need them to win and cover tomorrow. I don't have much money invested 1 unit. But I have so many reasons I want them to cover.
I'd be surprised if they lost, a little surprised if they didn't cover.

Boy is that the truth. Other than when USC comes to visit it's pretty quiet.

Depends how you define 'hostile.' If it's just crowd noise and a team that is generally ranked, it would be one list.
If you mean where do the fans act like complete jerks, then anyone who doesn't list Tortilla Tech's Jones Stadium hasn't ever been there. Absolute scum fans, poster children for the pro-Abortion faction. And Lubbock is just a horrible place on its own.
