    One account per Household
MY roommate just made an account and it appears as though he can't post and is not earning SBR points. Is there a rule only one account per household can earn sbr points?

Most people in same household are scamming points that is why you are not allowed to have more than one per household.

The mods might allow him to post, but he won't be able to earn points.

You should be able to, just send a PM to one or more of the mods, i.e. CrazyLou, Willie Bee, Bill Dozer and clear it up now so you don't have issues down the road.

Well the entire concept behind the points is to get people to sign up who otherwise would not. As an incentive it should nudge people into registering, though if they register solely because of the points then yeah its pretty sad.

Actually Pavy opted out of the points system, so no he doesn't use 'em.

Actually I won more than 5,000 points here through the book which I donated to different charities. But I have asked to be taken off the points program because it was hurting my real money bets at my books. Since I quit betting points I am up more than 50% at my books compared with the period I was betting points.

So concentrate in making money at the books by getting the best line and exploring slow line moving books on the games you have an edge instead of worrying about points bets that are not worthy of your capping time if you want to be a successful gambler who cashes checks on a regular basis from the books.

Not sure if I understand this. Why not just let your points add up and not use them? or even donate them once you get enough?

Because I was spending more time looking at the lines at the SBR Book instead of looking at line movements at my books. It was a nuisance. When you have 5-10 dimes spread at various books you really don't need to be worrying about your 500 point balance at the SBR book.

For someone that bets for fun $10-$20 a game then maybe betting 100 points a night at the book makes sense but for me it doesn't worth the time and effort.

Solid Post there and makes a lot of sense for a guy like Paver, he is not a small player and points to him are virtually worthless. He owns a tv, bicyle, shirts, robes and computers so I see he has no motivation. Most of us NEED these things therefore need points to purchase these items.

Exactly JJ. I own most of the stuff from the store already. I have mugs, shot glasses, cards, shirts, money clips, all the bags, golf balls etc cause they gave them last year at the Bash. I also own a laptop, phone, headset, digital music player, flat screen TV's etc. The only thing I don't own is the Bowflex lookalike exercise equipment but I have a gym membership. You can't be banging moms and getting stock tips in the steam room if you work out at home.

Now let the college kids who eat ramen noodles and drink kool aid get their 7 points and gamble.

I like playing with the points though because I can use a wallet, shirt, etc

Points are for most of us
