      They weren't going to resign him next year. Why not give Kolb an extra year to get it going? Small chance, but maybe Vick would be the QB. It would be the same story with Don, playoffs=loss.

        Fair assessment on the whole situation. I can't disagree with a lot that was said, but what can Nate Allen do for this ball club I don't think he is skilled enough to replace Brian Dawkins.

          That is one helluva deal for the Eagles if true..........

          Nate Allen is a stud and will probably have a few all-pro seasons in him................McNabb will never sniff another all-pro season.

            Say what you will about **'O'Shannahan, but the guy steps into a new job w/ a Pro Bowl QB and a Pro Bowl RB.

            Check the playoff teams over the last 5 years. Compare those teams to the teams that didn't make the playoffs. Basically solid QB on a team vs. a shitty QB on another team.

            I never thought I'd say this, but I'll now be rooting for the Redskins..... thanks to **'O'ShananhannanFinnegan.
