Yanks choke, couldn't pull their Wang in Time
Despite sweeping Cleveland in the regular season, the Yankees dropped the Divisional Series to Cleveland 3-1. Not as bad as the other NY's choke down the "stretch" , as it's unbelievable the Mets failed to make the playoffs. Bad year, for NY, but as far as the Yankees are concerned, look no further than their short Wang. He pitched 1 inning in his first start and just under 5 yesterday, allowing 12 runs in total--all earned. If Torre gets fired, he can blame Wang for the "bad taste in his mouth".

My wife pulls my Wang too, and I am also Yanked early sometimes. She says I leave a bad taste too.

Have you ever watched the body language of the Yankees hitters when they were facing big league pitching? They get intimidated real fast. Yes, they can beat up on minor league pitching like the Orioles bullpen and their 8.00 ERA post all star break, and they hoop and holler and high five. But watch them closely when they are facing major league pitching. They look nervous and scared and intimidated.

Wang is overrated, Yanks score lots of runs for him.

You could have said the same thing about Petitte his first stint with the Yankees. His W-L was always better than his ERA. The problem with Wang is he can't pitch on the road.

This is not true at all; if you ever played baseball, you would not state something like this. I would put the Yankees lineup against any pitcher in MLB.
