Favorite and least Favorite Horse tracks
With Derby around the corner lets find out some of the nicest places and some of the dumps
    Nicest
    1)Saratoga:With out question
1A)Delmar:Where the surf meet the turf plus one of the nicest OTB's I have ever been in
2)Santa Anita:Pain in the azz to get to but worth the effort
3)Ruidoso Downs:Hidden gem in the Sierra Blanca Mountains of New Mexico
4)Delaware Park:It's some what of a dump and the BS slots and teaser/parlay lounge have ruined it by still a sentimental favorite

    Dumps
1)Penn National:Scummiest track I have ever been too
2)Pimlico:Just parking your car is a nightmare at old roundtop
3)Sunland Park:Anything this close to Juarez
    4)Thistledowns:It's in Cleveland any questions

I've only been to the three NYRA tracks. In obvious order:
        1) Toga - make a point to go at least once a season.
        2) Belmont - great late spring/early summer and fall meets. Try to go a few times each season.
        3) Aqueduct - pretty much a hole. Though the facilities give Belmont a serious run for it's money the track is short. Maybe it is the gloominess of winter but I try not to go here.

Monmouth park can be a good time if you eat upstairs and treat yourself to some food and beer. Winning helps too.

Fvck, just looked at the NYRA site and they cut train service to Belmont again this year, they will only have a shuttle bus. They did this for May/June last year too and it sucks. They are hemorrhaging money.

I've only been to a few. My fav is Monmouth. The others are Philly and Pocono Downs. I walked the track at Atlantic City Racecourse when they weren't racing.

Have been to these, and liked them all. No favorites or least favorites though.

                                Gulfstream
                                Woodbine
                                Philly Park
                                Saratoga
                                Finger Lakes

On second though I'd actually call Finger Lakes my favorite due to the proximity.

Yes. It was originally a 5/8 ths track. Then they made it a 7/8ths track. Now its gone.

When did it go out? Last time I could remember betting it was around 1994.
