I can't run for shit. I lift and cycle. I will cycle 2-3k miles a year. On a Saturday I will ride 60-80 miles on my road bike and burn 4k calories.....I cant run a mile without stopping. Just doesnt agree with my body and I hate it

Yes, I run often but I have too. Have stage 2 leukemia and I have to be in optimal
    shape to fight it.

I did over 100 miles last 2 weeks. Haven’t lost a pound. Still 6’0 187. I live in south Florida now (used to live in Illinois and couldn’t run during winter). Here it’s 80 in November so I feel compelled to run.

You don't really think running will improve your chances of beating leukemia do you? I wish you the best of luck.

Stage 2 people can live with for 5+ years with minimal treatment if they are in great shape physically. It’s a disease that can be managed but literally every thing else about your body needs to be perfect. You hear lot of NFL’ers beating leukemia bc in part because they are in great shape. I think WWE wrestler Roman Reigns has it too

Lifting is fun, running sucks. Love the way I feel after lifting, hate the way I feel after running.

I ran a 4:19 mile in Teva sandels in Co.
I learned that this is not that impressive. I used it as ammo for years. Apparently pretty nurse and cocktail server gals can’t run very fast. That’s what I’ve heard.

Feel like this has a kinda creepy undertone to it. “I like them gals who can’t run fast, they never get away!”., lmfao
