    16 to nothing??!!!
wow milwaukee always seems to have pittsburgh's number.
that's 34-1 so far in the series, does anyone have the odds of beating a team by at least 8 runs 3 games in a row in their home ballpark?

    my guess is it's around 50-1 each game so (50x50x50) = 125,000 to 1

true sorry i was listening to the radio and thought the first game was 10-1 instead of 8-1.

how much more often does it happen than 50/1? since the games were roughly pick ems that would mean that 1 game out of every 26 was a 7+ run blowout, that might be a bit high?

also this is the 4th game in a row that milwaukee has had an 8 run lead. can't imagine that has happened too many times in the history of baseball.

Twins and Phillies both already have 3 7+ run wins

ok so maybe it's 15-1 that a game is going to be won by 7 or more runs making it 30-1 for milwaukee
                    30 x 30 x 30 = 27,000 to 1?

either way it's still less than the odds of beating pittsburgh 21 straight times in milwaukee, which i think is the current streak. by the way pittsburgh comes here next week!
