I'm guessing we would certainly need 10 cent lines, don't know how accurately you can predict the likelihood of it falling on a 1 run win for the favored team.... I'm sure you could but I haven't heard of anyone doing this before now....so must always be unprofitable long-term?

I've done it a few times...I usually only bet it when both lines are around the +130 mark

low salary and efficient business model, look at the marlins they have no fans but probably make a higher return on investment than almost any other major league team. When your team salary is 25 million it can't be too hard...even if your only drawing 10-15k fans a game....

Not sure about the nats but they Love their O's in Hampden,Dundalk and Up I83 all the way to York
They get their money from Anne Arundel and Baltimore County Season tickets

Guy i've been to orioles games. I went to 3 oriole/yankee games and 90% of the fans are yankee fans... and if you look on tv when they are playing a non competitive opponent, lets say like the bluejays they won't have more than a few thousand fans there.


These owners only care about making a buck and not fielding a good team that has a chance to win.
