    This is so disheartening Rudy!! All these years I thought it was just us in a fun contest. I certainly don’t blame sbr and am still grateful for them but def agree id much prefer reduced prizes and doing whatever it takes to keep scammers out!!!

    Maybe for future contests we should implement rules in which one must have been member already for a minimum time frame with a minimum amount of posts as well.

    This will allow more time to weed out the immoral individuals with ghost accounts.

    just do what jj said and require an ID

    i do a bunch of work online and have 1 desktop, 2 laptops, 1 ipad (that i won at sbr), and 2 phones that can connect to the internet

    if i go to any other persons house weekly, i can act as them

    even if it involves only using public wifi, such as mcdonalds, hotels, starbucks, etc




    its very aggravating watching what happened last year

    and this year, it got even better for scammers signing up

    Relax SBR uses Geolocation IP to track household names but does it mean if I went on holiday to the house of an SBR member, let's say Firedawg does it mean both of us can't login regularly for a duration like summer holidays?

    Just think about it. You have about 100 Pros posting here between March Madness and Football start and now all of a sudden you have 2200 people registered for the Pick 6 contest. What do you think happened? A non-pro with 12 accounts doesn't care about the Pro prizes. He is going to take a shot and try to get paid non-pro prizes. If he wins $500 with a couple of his ghosts accounts is all profit for him. It's $500 he didn't sweat. Taking shots at free money. If you don't catch him he wins. If you catch him he lost nothing.

    No need. No offense I know you mean well, but this sounds like the NFL, keep adding rules on top of existing rules until all you have is one big clusterfukk. It's simple, MUST BE SBR PRO to enter. Not 10 weeks, 6 weeks, 2 weeks in but prior to contest start date. Eliminates freerolls, scammers, multi-accounts. Lower the prize pool if need be. You want to generate traffic/new signups? Announce the contest 2 to 3 months beforehand, that's ample time for newbies to sign up for pro status. They miss the deadline, see you next year. The majority of these "posters" will disappear soon as the season ends anyway. Simple and effective.

    Make me NFL commissioner and I'll fix that shit show too
