Guy said all night before the game that Miami had a chance to win, and that Celtics could be in trouble. Then when Celtics blow them out in the first half he is stuttering and back peddling and shouting "check the tape" . Total joke.

The guy makes a living making stupid statements, so stick with it. He usually doesnt step out so much on games that matter but tonight he did and he got called out and sounded like every degenerate that ever posted on a gambling forum with a losing pick. Good thing he doesnt gamble (allegedly) anymore.

But he obviously helps with ratings and that is why they keep him around. But usually he doesnt even take himself serious enough to defend stuff he says. But tonight for some reason he wanted to deny it. Maybe he had a bet on Miami or something.

At times Charles has made me scratch my head and wonder if I really just heard that right. Other times he has caused me to scratch my head and wonder how could anyone be so opinionated. Then there are those times when he's made me scratch my head even though I absolutely agreed with what the guy had just said.

Whether it's because Charles' ego is so overly inflated that he thinks he can say and do anything and get away with it or if he truly is very calculated in what he says and when he says it matters little to me. I find the guy riduculous at times, incredulous at times, shocking at times, insightfull at times but pretty much entertaining every time.

When you talk as much as he does you have to be right some of the time.

He was just 'out of character' with that whole backpeddling last night. He made more excuses for saying he thought Miami had a chance to win, than he did with his DUI. Just seemed wierd. I have heard him make stupid predictions before and he usually just let them slide when he was wrong, but last night he took it hard. Just makes me think he got buried on that game, or maybe someone found out about it and he was trying to cover his tracks or something. But he was definitely doing the "I didnt say that" shuffle.
