Never one to refrain from voicing his opinion, Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh takes the SEC to task in a new, soon-to-be-released book entitled, “Overtime: Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines at the Crossroads of College Football” by New York Times best-selling author John U. Bacon.
According to an early review by Jeff Arnold at Forbes, Harbaugh digs into the unfair advantages in recruiting his program faces, notably in overall spending and cost of attendance broken down by player.
“Harbaugh, who has made plenty of enemies south of the Mason-Dixon line since taking over at Michigan, has poked the cages of SEC coaches repeatedly and in the book, speaks to the disparity in spending by simply telling Bacon, “(It’s) hard to beat the cheaters.”
