Why are the character shaped ones (Spiderman, Sponge Bob, etc) so much better then regulars? If no characters then you have to go with spirals. Why is this?

I agree they taste like rubber the regulars. I think the shaped ones cost less by the box. I got a hook up though some guy sells me bags of the Sponge Bobs by the ounce at a good price. If you need hit me up and I can set something up.
