Not exactly the best place to ask, but if you do, is there anything I should look for, and/or anything that adds to the cost that doesn't appreciably affect performance? How much worse are traveling irons than regular? Irons I'm considering:

    • Panasonic NI-S300TR 1200-Watt Steam Iron with Curved Titanium-Coated Soleplate, White/Green

    • Panasonic NI-C78SR Steam/Dry Iron with Stainless-Steel Soleplate

    • SteamFast SF-717 Home-and-Away Mini Steam Iron

    • Rowenta DA1560 Classic 1000-Watt Compact Iron with Stainless-Steel Soleplate

    • T-Fal FV3056003 Prima Iron

All of them have high ratings at Amazon, but a couple are a bit cheaper than others, and I'm curious about the meaningful differences just based on those specs.

I feel like SBR might not be a great resource on this issue.

The reviews on sites like amazon are usually pretty good. I had to return a refurbished iron from Overstock.com it was a POS. Forget the brand.
