After a massive debate with me losing 9-1, my friends reckon I'm the only person on Earth to have ever seen this one.

Stallone, truck driver/arm wrestler, wanker pencil neck son, Kenny Loggins singing 'Meet me Halfway' and the 2 most important parts: Stallone turning his cap around backwards when he's getting ready to take you down and his special arm wrestling finger move.

I fukkin LOVE this movie. Surely I'm not its one and only fan?!?!

You can't go wrong with Over the Top. I've probably seen it a half a dozen times or so. Doesn't he say turning the cap around makes him feel like a Big Rig?

You know what's a GREAT Stallone movie that probably even less people have seen? Lock Up! That movie rules!

Also, Over the Top is sort of cheesy but it pales in comparison to RoadHouse. RoadHouse makes me laugh each and every time I watch it and it's not even meant to be funny. There is something about Roadhouse that is irresistible. It's difficult for me to change the channel when it's on. It seems to have a hold on me. I think the best way to describe it is AWESOMELY BAD or perhaps HORRIBLY GOOD.

I totally forgot to check this thread until a friend just got on Skype and said she'll be transferring me the $150 she bet me that no more than 5 people would say they've seen this movie.

I KNEW this was a classic. And now I'm off to hunt down Tango and Cash. Haven't seen that one in years.

If I find Over the Top in my travels Venkman I'll let you know.
