Mets currently +101 at Pinnacle. If I can get +money at a book I have access too I will be playing that as well.

I don't care what your units are worth. It makes you no more or less of a man in my eyes. Good luck though.

If Giver wins out the rest of the month this guy could find himself winning handicapper of the month.

I actually like Big Z. He has made me a lot of money in the past but he has lost a bit as a pitcher. He is a headcase and can implode if a few things go wrong. This isn't exactly a fade of Big Z but more of a play on Pelfrey at a good price for me. Pelf is pitching very well and the new pitches he worked on in Spring Training have really helped him round into a pitcher. We have seen Pelf pitch well before for a long period of time and know what he is capable of. Pelfs ERA since 2007 is about 2 runs lower at home then it is on the road. He doesn't give up a ton of homers and most of his problems have come with walks and base hits. The Cubs right now are struggling for production with runners on base which will benefit him big time. Last year he had a great start against the Cubs in September (8 innings, 1 run) and I think he is certainly capable of 7 innings and 2 or 3 runs tonight.
The Mets have always been able to get runners on against Z. The Mets are most likely going to bring a good lineup to the table tonight with Reyes, Pagan, Wright, Ike, Francouer, Bay, and Barajas all in which really gives me only Castillo that I don't feel comfortable with at the plate. Bay I think is ready to heat up and if you see Pagan and Reyes both at the top of the order it will be a good day for Met fans. I think the Mets know they need to step up now before they fall too far behind and start playing catch up the rest of the season. The Cubs are definitley a team they can take 3 of 4 from and they need to win with Pelfrey on the hill. I think this one will be pretty tight into the 7th and that is when the Cubs really are at a disadvantage with a bad pen against a good pen. The Cubs have been struggling for hits late in games all year. I like this spot for the Mets, especially at + money. It's too good of a price for me to pass up.
Good luck.

So go big then and lose your ass on a MLB game in April.
