Years ago had a nice conversation with a very well known tout while I was in Vegas for Final Four weekend and a bit of advice he gave me was never bet on the playoffs in any sport. I asked why and he flat out said why would you try to outsmart the line makers when they've had a full season to prepare. I have followed this advice religiously and never bet on the playoffs in any sport. Really does make sense and has saved me a pile of cash.
