mark cuban had this idea yrs ago. it wont work. that much money moving weak numbers would lose value quickly. plus, the market is too efficient w/sharp lines all over the place in every sport these days. the time to make huge money in sports betting was 15-20 yrs ago. the internet has changed the gm, and not in a good way for most players

Well that's like saying there is no room in the Long/Short space or the Long Only space because the buying (or selling) would cause the equities to lose value quickly and that the stock market is to efficient. Yet new profitable shops open up every day.
Surely there is some room in the space for a hardworking/novel manager willing to put in the work. Just because the game has changed doesn't mean the players can't adapt.
