The Rays are for real and obviously the Yankees are too. This is no longer the Yankees and Sox division. Sox won't make the playoffs.

You know they'll make moves at the deadline. Adrian Gonzalez and Zach Duke.

sadly yes the unfortunate state of baseball guarantees this will happen, not sure about Duke but seems as if Gonzalez is already there

think its a little more than a slow start, they are in desperate need of a bat as that lineup wasnt scaring anyone coming into the season...im sure there pitching will come around but hitting is a different story

i have no faith in this team either. i had the chance to get an early -170 on todays game with lackey and i couldnt pull the trigger. usually bostons best pitcher at home is -200 but they suck. hes pitching solid but they cant score runs.............U9 is the only play i see here today

I hate the Red Sox but it's way to early to say their done. The pitching will come around but the East belongs to the Yanks.

Sure their pitching may be fine but you can't win games when you can't score runs.

This team lacks fight. They will be in a battle w/the Jays for 3rd in the division.

Not counting them out yet, but I don't like their chances of making the playoffs this year...

I agree but you didn't say why this is the case. The season is only roughly 1/16th over.

Lineup is mostly filled with overpaid and washed up veterans. Time to rebuild.
