I've been considering playing a few of these lately, but not sure exactly what type of strategy to use though.
Anyone have any tips on how to play these?

I noticed them for the first time recently and it seemed to be common sense on how the bets would work but I like to read sportsbooks rules before placing a type of wager I'm not familiar with. I could not find the rules on their website regarding these match ups so did not look into it further.
Is it total points of one team vs total point of other team?
I assumed thats the way it works but wanted to make sure it was not margin of victory on anything else regarding the true match up, or if there were any kind of additional stipulations written somewhere.

Heres basically what it is Prop.
This prop is you must pretend that these two teams are playing each other. You take the scores they get from playing the teams they are playing and that is how it is graded. (Cut and Dry..no rules needed really)
The reason i ask far as strategies go on these types of wagers. I wasn't sure if anyone might have had some unique strategy they might care to share on these.

These bets are useful for one of two things: You can be a math expert and exploit mistakes or line moves, or you can use it to get down on two teams at the same time if you think one team should score a lot and the other should score less than expected. In general the full vigs make it tough to get much out of them.

All you have to do is scroll down to the football props and you will see them Pico.
I was thinking about jumping in to wagering on a few, but just never did for some reason or other.

I'm not a big prop guy, but I play these in college from time to time. I like this one quite a bit for Saturday:
Illinois -.5 over Florida State (-115)

USC over Penn State pk -110
Purdue over Michigan pk (WTF?) -115
LSU vs Marshall Under 53 looks like stealing..
