That's my prediction. Here's my reasoning. The past couple of years, I've gotten into the minds of the NHL owners and know what the game is all about: Making money. Whenever there's a headline game, watch out because there may be some kind of fix.
We've seen this with:
1. All Star game last season
2. Stanley Cup Finals last season
3. Classic at Fenway Park this season
4. Even the Olympic Hockey Finals
and now, it'll be the Stanley Cup playoffs.
obviously, i'm not just a sore loser crying fix because i lost money on those games. I successfully predicted that the East would win in that All Star game (east won in a close entertaining game and a montrealer was awarded MVP:fix), predicted the Pens would beat Detroit in Game 7 (as big dogs) and even predicted Canada would win GOLD IN OT at the olympics one week prior to the match, when they just lost and everyone was counting them out early. The Fenway Park classic stunk of fix as well as was just meant to be entertaining to the boston fans.
Now I'm giving you the Coyotes to win the Stanley Cup. We all know the team isn't moving anywhere after their support problems, so the NHL needs this crew to win something big to gather a more prominent fanbase in phoenix. if ur too scared to bet on them to win the stanley cup, they'll win this series w/ detroit and the next one at least, so load up on that. wherever there's room for a fix in hockey, there will be one.
