I was at the sportsbook at Mandalay Bay last week and was scanning the board. I get in line and am about to lay $500 on the Red Sox against the Twins. The guy in front of me cashes for $12K and drops $5K on the Twins.
Now I'm thinking this guy may be a sharp and knows something I don't so I decide to entirely lay off the game. Of course the Sox cash and I cost myself $430
Lesson learned - Trust my skill as a capper and screw what others think or say about my picks
