Still love the keyboard my friend. Looks like they got rid of that with the new model....I'd still bite though

i was sceptical on touch pads as well, the predictive txt on these ones work particularly well, so you dont have to be so accurate, one handed textin still easy

I haven't been big on full touch. I will attempt it with this EVO 4G. It might take some getting use too. I have used Palm since the Treo600, and currently on the Centro.

yh after experiencing nokia's terrible attempts at touch i want all to keen on touch either lol, those palm phones are pretty sweet too, l like that pebble one ,

I have been trying to wait out the iphone move to other carriers for quite sometime now. I really don't want to have to switch to AT&T.

How is the Andriod software compared to the iphone software? As far as apps and internet browsing? Do you know Iwin?

I think 4g is in the range of 10x faster then 3g.

I have friends who have droid software and Ive played on the droid. Iphone browsing is 100% better then ANY software out there, period. It is really like being on a computer. I have surfed the web on very new, cool latest phone, and not comparable.

Android software is nice though, and it is between them and apple for the best mobile software platform. Go play with the iphone at ATT. From what Im told, the app selection/quality just doesnt come to par with the iphone.

the android software is top stuff, pretty much every app iphone has as far as i know, have no complaints on the internet browsing, im in UK though, may be diff in US under diff networks

Yeah, I have played with the iphone over the years. And have been holding off on it for the last 2 years. Hoping it would move from AT&T. I just haven't played with any Android stuff yet.

Depends where you live. If you live in a major metro you should have it before the end of the year.

Sprint is releasing this 4G EVO this summer. Not sure where yet, but I have to believe that in major cities it would be available. It is in Las Vegas

Here is some nice info on the Sprint 4G network. You can select a state and see if it is in a city in those states.

New Iphone gets released every year, mid June.

I dont think you will see Iphone getting to any other networks for awhile. ATT gives them to much $. Verizon was the first company approached for the Iphone, but they said no because Apple wants a small % fee off data (I heard 3%) a month. So ATT said ok we will. Data (unlim) is $30 a month, which you HAVE TO HAVE on your Iphone, they wont allow you not to. So Verizon turned down the Iphone because they didnt want to give Apple $3 a month per phone. Oooops!

Hell if the 4G network is stable, I could probably cancel my Cable ISP.

Probably not, as I am getting 55MB down, through Cox. Only if I get in a bind and need to save some cash each month.
