    Virginia 3rd offense / 5th defense

      Good state.

I love texas tech from the eye test. They've been locked in all tournament. Virginia should have been out twice. But who knows.

Tech offense efficiency was much better as the year went on.

Texas Tech is not Top 20 offense. Not that those trends have anything to do with tonight's game, I am just following up Dom's point.

And they have player better opponents than Virginia in the tournament. Purdue is the best opponent Viriginia played in the tournament and Texas Tech played Michigan, Michigan State and Gonzaga that are all better than Purdue. Regular season, no question Viriginia is the better team but tournament results, Tech has been more impressive in terms of quality of opponents and margin of victory.
