#3What's the difference between placing a bet on the internet, and booking a bet of your friend?
About 5 years in the pen.
Seriously... making bets can be a grey area, or arguably legal depending on where you live. Booking your friends' bets is asking for a disaster, even if you "lay it off" online.Comment -

#4How much money are your friends betting with you? If its large amounts theres a good chance you won't be freinds for long.Comment -

#5i agree this is pretty much a "no-win".
if you win money from your friends:
they might be bitter, they might not pay, might turn you in to the cops, etc
if you lose money to your friends:
YOU LOSE $Comment -

Scenario: My friend gives me $100 to wager with online because he thinks I'm good at it. I wager with it, turn it into $150 and return $125 to him (gotta be paid for my services). Legal?Comment -

#11playoffs ? you wanna talk about playoffs , what cops , where are the cops , we be lucky to win a game , playoffs ?
I dont even understand your situation but if it is what I think it is then
you should not cry over spilt milk , if you are doing bookie work then you have to take the bumps and bruises just like when you collect and have good days you act happy . If the guys you call friends are really friends then I would not gamble against them unless they are strapped and can afford it . If you are hustling and think there wont be consequences when actually dealing in the flesh with any public you would not be being real with yourself . Gambling can cause problems so you have to ANTICIPATE that and always know what do to make the situation right . Actual friends , nah you dont take their money man . Unless it doesnt hurt them .Comment -

#12buddies have paid me or asked me to lay action for them. I usually just tell them to open their own account. if they win a big amount it comes out of my pocket cause payoffs take forever online.Comment
