Good pick. I think the Mets get by with a win in this one. I wish you the best of luck with your wagers on Saturday,,,,,,,,,,,,

Thanks guys. Just note this is a one unit play for me. The last 3 "Easy Winners" I have given out have been much bigger. The Blue Jays were for 5 units, the Braves were for 3, and the Pirates last night were also for 3. This is strictly a value/action play on Santana.
I can't beleive the public isn't all over this play.

This isn't the same Santana and you seen what Washington did to him as a -250 fav last week. Cards have trouble hitting left handers too. I don't like either side of this game. Maybe the over though.

Cards can win, Santana won't get rocked.

You can't tell me this isn't the same Santana. I am a Mets fan. What did the Nats do to him? He gave up a lead off triple, 2 walks, and a grand slam in the first inning and then calmed down and pitched fine. How about him shutting down Florida in his first start?
Santana's Stats in Starts after giving up 5ER or More Since 2004:
49 innings pitched, 37 hits allowed, 11 runs, 7 walks, and 50 strikeouts
He will bounce back today. I have seen no signs saying Santana has lost anything and as a overcritical Met fan I would be the first to notice.

I can back Santana but can't back the Mets. Since Santana alone can't win the game, Cards RL (+185) is the play for me.

Regardless of who wins, can't no one say it was a bad bet either side

What are you talking Paco? This was an easy Mets winner lol.
Realistically, the Cardinals deserved the game but LaRussa actually got out-managed by Manuel if you can beleive that. At the end though, the Cards just gave up.

that was the hardest easy win I ever got lol... seriously good hit, and tough loss for cards backers...
and everybody is all over La Russa as a poor manager... it was clear after about the 13th he conceded the game with all the "questionable decisions" he made... The sad thing is, no matter how hard he tried to concede the game it still took the Mets a long time to take it....
the interesting thing I noticed was the umpires... the truly questionable calls... at times I couldnt really decide if they were trying to give the edge to the home town team, or were just trying to get it over with

No trust me LaRussa didn't pack it in that early. I mean if they could just muster a run then the game is over. He ****ed up big time taking Matt Holliday out of the 5 hole and putting the pitcher there. It was a terrible move. At least put another bat there. The rest of the game they had Pujols followed by pitcher with no pinch hitters on the bench. How many times did Pujols get walked with runners on and the pitcher got out behind him? That was terrible on his part and cost his team the game and he made that move very early.
