    BetCris/Bookmaker THIEVES
BetCris which apparently owns Bookmaker now are thieves! I have been a member of SBR for a long time, and I cannot understand why Bookmaker is Rated A+

They have no escalation process. Refuse to send issues to supervisors. Stall and waste individuals time, again and again.

    - I requested a payout from Betcris. It took a long time to even get this payout accomplished. I would get 10 different stories, like "fictious" rollover requirements. Attempting to make me re-send my information.

    - Finally I had to get a hold of a supervisor to properly accomplish my withdrawal. They charged me a $45 Western Union fee.

    - Then the nightmare began... They shorted me on my withdrawal $19.81 exactly. There is no conversion possibility, no fees, because I had already paid them up front...

When calling the customer service, I got ran around. They wanted a copy of my receipt sent to cs@betcris.com which i sent...

Refused to send me to supervisors, constantly running my around to irrelevant departments. One of them Alex promised me that he would take ownership of this problem, took all of the information down and promised a follow-up from a supervisor which never came.

To find out today that apparently he never wrote a single note on my account. I had to re-explain my situation at least 5 times now to different front line customer support agents. Whom all promise a resolution, refuse to send the call to supervisors and never make things better.

I have tried the diplomatic method, bully method. Nothing functions. I am getting the clear impression that either they are doing on purpose. They steal small amounts from individuals, in hope that either the person will never notice. Or if they notice and complain, the run arounds will make them abandon the case.

This is theft. If they act this way for $19.81CAD, I cannot imagine how many others were taken this way without realizing it.

How can they constantly refuse to escalate a call/issue? Empty promises. To me this is not A+ Book, it's an F.

I am so upset right now. I cannot care if it is for $1 or a million dollars. Gambling is built on principals. They lack the fundamentals in my opinion and should not be allowed to operate, sheltered in their countries with fewer laws.

I love Bookmaker due to the fact that you can bet early lines for larger amounts, but you hit on a fundamental problem that I think many here can agree on.

CRIS/Bookmaker have been absolutely cheap ever since the US legislation, and have taken every advantage they can to gauge customers attempting to make withdrawals. I would never advise anyone making a deposit of less than say $2K to play with them, as you'd get eaten alive on a small bankroll with their various admistrative and transaction fees. I don't think they even want smaller action, so it might not effect them too much, but I still think potshots on customers come back to bite you at some point.

      Hi Metra,

Can you send us an email with your account ID so we can ask Bookmaker about the $19.81CAD? Assistance@sportsbookreview.com.

Hopefully it is a matter of miscommunication somewhere. You are right that the amount does not make it any less important of an issue.

        Reasons

I have sent the information to Assistance. I appreciate so much what SBR has accomplished over the years for the community.

I will probably never play again with Betcris/Bookmaker. I am more deceived and sad than anything else. I just wish to find one Sportsbook which is honest? Why is honesty so hard to find in this world?

I like to gamble I just wish to gamble my 100, 500, or thousands of dollars, knowing that I will get paid if I win. Without issues, and without run arounds...

These types of situations anger me such. I was reading the thread of Jackpot, and this placed my situation in a new light I feel for you Jackpot.

This is why I respect a lot what SBR does for individuals. Could someone please recommend me a good Sportsbook? NHL is just starting and that is my primary sport. I just wish to be able to sleep at night, knowing that my money is safe.

Pinnacle is probably your best bet if your a non-American bettor. They surely won't yank your chain at all, and they won't make you pick either American or Canadian lines when you signup with them to play pucks.

Awesome, thank you for the advice. I already have an account with Pinnacle for years now I can't believe that I didn't stick with them. I guess that the non-pretty interface fooled me. Back to Pinnacle I go.

              They are not thieves

Betcris has bad customer service. They also charge ridiculous fees like $60 to go from Bookmaker to Diamond, two books that they run on the same computer server.

But it is exaggerating to call them thieves.

The "thief" category is reserved for books like that in the latest SBR reporting - offering 40% bonuses up to $5000.

that's good advise biggy about the 2k plus bankroll,if one check in the top SBR books rating list, there is a red p is next to the pro -books,these books probably treat small bettors like our friend as a leper so he doesn't come back

Useful and very save book, but CS is not A+ worthy there too often. Maybe lower them for a while so they have something to think about.

I used bet cris last year and had similiar issues with the customer service. If you can reach the proper supervisor within a given situation it was possible to wade past troubled waters. However my exerience in getting to that point was emotionally frightening and an unnecessary time consuming effort. Thus I haven't reloaded with bookmaker this football season.
These comments above are not surprising. Perhaps a lower rating is in order for awhile.
