Entering a thread that is titled "Is Tennis Babe a Tout?" and replying something to the effect of "we don't want you to go TennisBabe! Please stay!" under one username and then entering that same thread under the TB username and replying a little while later.
As I said, I'm not judging anyone or speculating to anyone's motivation behind doing something like this but there is definitely at least 2 accounts in use here. GUARANTEED.
And as long as people aren't betting crazy units to blindly tail those plays, especially in the NBA thread, then all should be okay for people I guess. I don't know.Comment -

You know Hen, I wouldn't be surprised how many people will tail TB with a comparative amount of money with respect to their bankroll.
Maybe their bankroll is only $1k, but if they see TB is so confident in it, if they even wager $750 of their roll that'll be a lot to them.
That's the part that I think sucks. But that's not TB's fault. Just silly for people to do that to themselves to hopefully win so little.Comment -
I had just started to reply that I still didn't see how it was TB's fault as he's not asking anyone to tail. But something just dawned on me: If I was blindly tailing, or even just tailing for small amounts, which I have done in tennis when I didn't have a feel for either player and just wanted to make a bet because I'm a sick degenerate, I would want to know that this was the same person who had made those plays on the SuperBowl so I could make a better judgment on someone's methods and style of wagering.
And in actual fact, more than enough people have come in to this thread to give posters a heads up. Hell I'm even back in here because I honestly don't want anyone to make a stupid bet tomorrow based on that friggin idiotic Red Sox thread and since a lot of people know me from his MLB thread, I'm hoping they'll at least see my name in here and read what I have to say about it.
The NBA thread is bad enough and I had actually considered trialling TB's system until I saw the damn unit sizes. Some of the guys I really like on the forum took a major hit on the Suns when TB said they were doubling their play and that just sucks balls. Yes I know it's their fault but at least now I can say I've tried again to warn them to at least think about what they're doing before they bet Boston tomorrow.Comment -

That's what brought me back in here. That fukking Boston thread. I didn't say a word about the Suns play but that thread is seriously ridiculous.
What is someone's motivation for starting a thread with a title like that? The possibilities that I could come up with off the top of my head don't look too good at all.
It's not like you guys are coming into the MLB or tennis threads and bashing him in there. So I would suspect he has read this thread somehow, although I'm obviously not a mod and can't verify that. And if that's the case, then to post a thread like that knowing full well you have people that blindly tail you and 'know' how much you're wagering is just a shitty thing to do in my opinion.
At the end of the day I could post 20 clear examples of proof that TB and Agio are the same person based on things found on the forum alone, let alone the off forum stuff (which I would never bring into any discussion). But people will believe and do what they want to and at least I can say I tried. As have you and quite a few others so if the Rays win tomorrow, well fukk it. Because the real laugher is the Cavs ML bet. Supposedly, thats a $35K bet.

There's a few reasons why I suspect TB is a male, not that it matters at all to me as I've said before because he's never outright said he's a female, but the main 2 are:
1. The "When Will TB Turn Tout" thread that Agios (TB) started.
Despite what some people on here think, I am in fact a woman who loves gambling and is actually somewhat decent at it. If I posted my picks every day for 6 months and was hitting 60% and so was a fellow male poster, who do you think people would buy picks from? And it's because of that that the thought of turning tout is not even in the top 10,000 thoughts in my head even when I've been on the hottest streak of my life. The simple fact remains: How many people are actually going to buy picks from a woman? Sad to say, but it's true. Maybe a few female gamblers would to support a fellow woman, and a few males for the novelty factor or just to try to track me to prove their point that women are shitty gamblers, but how much money would I actually make? Not much.
Touting isn't like poker. It doesn't matter what anyone thinks about Annie Duke's ability to play cards because she's a woman - when she wins, she's winning money from fellow players. Touting involves asking gamblers to put their faith in your abilities and pay you for the possibility of winning. Why buy picks from a woman, when everyone knows that women suck at gambling
and there are more male gamblers than female gamblers, when there are so many men out there to buy from?
2. The writing style of Agios. Although there are many similarities in elements of the posts between the two and even phrases which are the exact same, there are also posts which lead me to believe it is a male writing them purely on the style alone.
I'm not Matlock so I'm not saying I'm right. But these are two of the things that have led me to believe that TB is in fact a he.Comment -

I should also add it's quite advantageous for TB if people who don't come to other parts of the forum and solely hang out in his thread think he's a she. When he loses, even after betting big, how many of his followers have you seen bashing him?
I'm sorry but LB has taken a beating in his thread from people who pop in for one play and lose as ridiculous as that is. Why isn't this happening to TB? Or if it is, it's not happening vocally. Obviously I can't speak about what's being PM'ed to him so I'm unsure as to that. But look at LB's record vs TB's as far as longetivity is concerned. And blind tailers were freaking out at him in his thread when they lost ONE play. Why hasn't this happened to TB?Comment -
Yep, I think the bashing will begin but I think quite a few people will be willing to ignore the losses and keep tailing partly because of the female factor.
It's fascinating to me really - I came from modding a pregnancy forum and dealing with the quirks of some crazy women (and men) to now hanging out a lot the past couple of weeks in a gambling forum and getting the chance to study how guys work. So different in some aspects but so much the same as well.Comment
