SBR Spreadsheet wish list...time to bring it into the 2010's

First it's time to integrate it with SBR odds
1)Automatic scoring-when sbrodds post final score the spreadsheet automatically updates
2)automatic export from sbrodds-If I am viewing a line at sbrodds and I pull the drop down menu it should ask if i want to wager and link me directly to the spreedsheet with everything filled in(sportsbook,line at the time,etc etc) except the amount i have wagered
any more ideas ?

Voice recognition software. So when I stand in front of my screen and I say Cubs money line it automatically picks up the best line available from the SBR odds and posts it in my spreadsheet where I can review and approve before it becomes official play.

1.Ability to edit the bet type (ex. Side, Total, ML and Prop) after you have already submitted the pick.

2.Confirmation on deleting a pick, as of right now clicking on the trash can just automatically delete it.

3.Ability to put in future bets, lets say it's 10pm est time and I want to go ahead and put a soccer play for tomorrow, should be able to pick tomorrows date. Because as of right now it will show todays date.

Also sometimes when you try to click on WIN LOSS PUSH icons the edit your pick thing pops up where you can change unit size, league, ect....

And no doubts about authenticity if you don't edit your plays and plays come in before game time. Plus if you update your record people can check it. I understand the Spreadsheet does this for you, but in some cases lots of editing or deleting of plays makes it hard to judge who is really keeping an honest spreadsheet.

the spreadsheet is a tool for your own personal use
anyone can run a season long thread but usually it gets hijacked with alot of BS at some point

Yeah that's probably the way to go if your sharing your picks and what not. But with the spreadsheet you can easily see how your doing or have done then a thread. Like say I wanted to know how I did in CBB totals, 1st half NBA play, ect...

We are indeed looking at these ideas. The spreadsheet is one of the most popular features and we know we can and need to offer something much better. All of the websites are in the midst of a summer rebuild. Our first priority after that is brand new from scratch spreadsheet that works with lines and mobile platforms. Asking developer/authors to put their "apps" on our site doesn't require anything from SBR.

Iv'e stuck this thread. There are some good ideas in an older discussion too.

whenever I put in a new play in FF i have to always refresh the screen for the new plays to show up, and if I put a play in it removes all the rest of that days plays till I refresh

What exactly do these apps need to do. Make calculations or do they also need to pull data from somewhere and if so from what source do they need to pull the data?

Have picks striked thru and greyed out when deleted as opposed to removing from the spreadsheet completely so we can see who is deleting what pick.

Make a reasonable limit on the spreadsheet to avoid frauds putting 2.6 million on a -480 money line.

Consider coinciding books with limits i.e. someone claiming to place a 10,000 wager at SIA wouldn't be allowed as limits are 1,100.

Find better ways to filter the dates - doesn't work entirely when Tomato uses it and exporting to Excel is a disaster.

Link with SBR in a way that we can use plays to determine betting percentages, who has what on what, etc. Also potentially having earners by sport, bet type, etc.
