I've been running a free contest at my site sponsered by RCS. Many players have cashed out. Idiots like Taco, who can't tell the difference between 30 minutes and 9 hours, have no idea what they are talking about. No one has been stiffed.

Are you saying that everyone that contacted you was PAID IN FULL. I'm under the impression that you might have arranged a bail-out at a shitty book for some players - this does not constitiute "paid in full".

I'll help you out with your english here, raiders - paid in full means paid in full. Paid in full does not mean having an account transferred to another scam book whereby any payout (if they do actually pay out) is subject to a rollover.

And what about players such as BAUS (and others advised by TOW) who are still unpaid from the PTS scam which you seemed to be the centre of? Yes, let's forget about those.

No one was stiffed at a bunch of books like Aces Gold until they went down so to say that a book that admits that they are done is ok is irresponsible at best.

If you have a site and want to pump and dump these "rookie projects", insurance, PTS II or whatever then fine and best of luck. But please dont do it here.

I would dearly love to know exactly what the deal is here, ie. where is my money, who's got it etc etc, but given that earlier this evening I was out just short of 10 grand, and now I at least appear, on the face of it, to be in decent shape, I'm very happy with the way things have panned out here. I just hope everything else goes as smoothly.

Talked to a clerk, he said the manager would be emailing terms of the "bailout" to players hopefully by tomorrow.

Bailouts are better than being stiffed, but until you have the money in hand, it is far from a sure thing. And those who try to scalp out could get buried even more if things go bad.

I am not John, and I wasn't even a mod then, but for reference when SBR took on TOW as an advertiser there was no rookie program and Roberto was pretty vocal about not taking on any questionable books. That obviously changed, and I believe I remember seeing a thread here by John questioning whether TOW banners should be pulled from the forum, so it was certainly considered and TOW having these books wasn't going on when ad deal was done.

Funny thing is that a C rated book goes down in a matter of hours. What struck me the most was that C upgrade for RCS as it was obvious they were booking just couple of bets per hour. On a side note, I would rather expect BoS upgraded sooner at that time...

I think SBR has jumped the gun here, and inter-forum/inter-site politics are more the issue than the actual book..

With past "failures", SBR has been meticulous, and the news has slowly developed, with attempted resolutions. With this, the news breaks that something has happened, then an hour later we get "Book Failed... Only victims from Unreputable Watchdog. End of story".

It reaks Bill/John, TBH I expected better.

As for the remainder of your comments, you'll find that I have no account at RCS, nore any of the other rookie books (excluding Trojan), and I also have never had a bet cancelled for taking a bad line. I scalp, I middle, I play the advantages where they exist (Teasers through the 3-7 corridor), I also bet where I think a line is +EV. It may not be "gambling" which you like to see, but at least I can sleep knowing I've pulled in a decent income, and done it without selling others up the river.

Scalping is fine. You play bad lines without trying to scalp. Sometimes you get a way with it and sometimes they catch you. You've been around the block enough to know a bad line when you see it.
