Jealousy: Do you screw yourself because of it?
I've noticed A LOT more people going out of their way to give people hell who have been on solid winning streaks or started hot in certain sports, etc. Begs the question I think ... are you jealous of the attention they get and are you dumb enough to let that jealousy get in the way of WINNING?

I know their are plenty of people who blindly follow anyone on a winning streak or that is a "power poster" ... but I think there are more people who get pissed at not having attention to their own picks that probably circle the drain because they don't want someone to be successful.

So explain your position. I bet there are more broke ass jealous fools here than not.

I guess sometimes I get jealous of people, more so when i'm broke or on a losing streak. I think its human nature or atleast in the culture of americans to always want what you don't have.

        Define "successful".

Is a poster who is on a winning streak but has absolutely no money management skills and can't win any money in gambling successful? Winning streaks are overrated because for every winning streak that you see the same poster has 3 losing streaks you never know about.

So you're saying 75% of people go on losing streaks while 25% go on winning streaks simultaneously? These numbers don't add up pavy. You are going over the top a little bit i believe.

No what I'm saying is you see plays from a poster who is on a winning streak for 3 months a year in total but you don't see any plays from the same poster the rest of the year posted even though the poster is betting all year long. And he is not going to post the plays while he is on a losing streak. So you assume all the plays he posts are a winning streak when he is actually losing money.

Some people are jealous im sure. Personally I don't really care because I rarely bet real money anyway. It just irritates me when rookies flock to a poster because of a few wins and don't know the whole story or don't expect to lose, because these people are going to lose all their money when the well runs dry. I've seen it happen time and time again, so to me its not about "hating" but rather about keeping people in check and understanding that very few make money in this game, and it's not nearly as easy as it looks.

As much as I hate the term "haters", SBR is absolutely full of them. Criticizing someone's ability to pick winners is kind of a perverse pleasure, I think. People are so used to losing, seeing other people win is just offensive and being able to publicly insult them gives people a sense of "control".

The only person I want to see lose with any regularity is Enogsiwon because I would hate to see what this forum would look like if he started actually winning. Thank fukk he bets 12 games a day and will never post a winning record when it counts.
