Lot of Home Runs Early on this y ear?

I don't have statistics on this, but i'm sure we have alot more guys with 3,4,5 even 6 homers already after 9-11 games... any explanations/theories?

tighter wound ball? a new non detectable designer anabolic steroid? just overall warmer weather on average? Umps squeezing the strike zone?
