How many of you cappers have the national weather service website bookmarked?

Something as easy to check on as weather forecasts can make or break a bettor.The national weather service radar and forecast website is about the only government service I have ever used where it put a few $$$ in my pocket where I determine betting strategy.You would be surprised how lines seem to be out of whack not taking weather into consideration.On certain weather nights in Denver,the ball leaves the yard alot more and pitchers can't get a grasp on the ball.In Hawaii the over will be tremendous but if the wind picks up,it's tough on passing and kicking.Then of course everyone knows about Wrigley field's bias where lots balls leave or stay in the field depending on wind conditions.

Does anyone here have an instance where they made a bet solely on a weather forecast affecting the game and won the bet?

pittsburgh miami nfl game in a monsoon. I bet under... 24? Something absurd and won easily.

I always look at weather reports and treat that info about the same as umpire reports. I won't always bet one way or another just because of the weather or just because of a particular umpire. But it's useful data nonetheless.

Weather reports are good if the weather changes right before the game. I once was actually at a stadium when it started snowing so hard one could not even see the field, called up a sportsbook, and was surprised that the total had not gone down at all! Weather reports are also useful if the weather changes at halftime. The halftime line and total will almost never change as much as it should.
