You'd be surprised how hot some of the chicks are that play these games. Back in my single days, I hooked up with a few. You obviously want to meet in a public place where you can spot her first - I once saw a chick that was 100 lbs heavier than she claimed, and promptly bolted. But most of the hard-core gamer chicks barely eat. They aren't that fit, but they're not fat either.

D&D is now free online (or at least that's what the ads say). I don't think there's much content there.

WoW.. You're going to have to pay, unless you use stolen cc's. And I would advise against that. If you're going to play this game 300 hours a month (like most gamers do), why are you bitching about paying $15/month?

Everquest (the original) was the shit. Other peoples' trains killed you. PVP was brutal. Bosses kicked ass.

EQ2 and WoW suck. Most of the game is without real challenge. EQ1 kept you on your toes; other players' actions dorked your routines, and you had to be ready to adapt.

re: EV. I made 30k off a guy I met in online gaming. I think he's in a Russian gulag now (WSJ did a story on him trying to fix Women's tennis after we went separate ways).

Never underestimate the value of networking, even with geeks.
