Not sure if this is common knowledge, but I found out today every time you make a new Xbox user account, you get one month of Xbox Live Gold for free. You can only do this 3 times.

Thanks for the heads up, but I think it is fairly common knowledge. I didn't know you could only do it 3 times though. You need a new email address each time also.
Once you create one acct your pretty much hooked, and you'll buy the year pass anyways. Just a word of warning...if you pay with your credit card. The only way to cancel your acct is to actually call up Xbox/Microsoft and tell them. Otherwise, they will continue to automatically renew your acct. There is no way to cancel it through your Xbox. I even tried changing the CC number that was saved to my XBox, and they still auto-renewed my acct.Comment -
