I am much better at poker. In poker, the cards are secondary. Being able to read people, distract them, and get them off of their game is primary. Some, like Mike the Mouth or Phil Helmuth do it by words. Some like Phil Ivey try to stare you down. Some try to be obnoxious. Some try to be too kind. Some dress funny. Women often use their God given looks and talents to distract people. There are all sorts of ways to distract people and throw them off of their game. I can read people like a book. I had to be able to do that. My life depended on it. I would much rather bet on myself than some dumb stupid kid running a ball down the field. Who would you rather have 5K wagered on. Pauly is delusional, no need to continue this argument. Everyone who plays gets lucky and has bad beats. If you make the right play the majority of the time, you'll be fine regardless of luck. I've had many a bad beats and got lucky plenty of times but I'm down because I make the wrong play more than not.
