One MoneyGram transaction per 4 days?
I didn't know about this rule. I tried to deposit into PlayersOnly, VIP Sports and 5 Dimes today, in that order. I had to pick up the red phone at the drugstore, give them my address and all the info, then walk over to the photo counter for each transaction, on 3 separate occasions. I went on live chat with all 3 simultaneously and was told that my account would be credited in 30-60 mins. 5 Dimes, which offered the worst odds of the 3, credited my account first.

    VIP told me this:

Germain: If you made a transaction under your own name in the last 4 days with Moneygram, you cannot use your own name again within 4 days.

    PlayersOnly told me this:

Joseph Cooper: Our accounting department tried to collect the funds and those were not available for us you need to contact MoneyGram into this.

I guess ultimately it's my bad for not knowing this rule, but I'm so frustrated because if I had known, I would have only tried to deposit to one of the other books.

What kind of money transfer service only allows 1 transaction every 4 days? Imagine if PayPal were like that

I had this happen to me once. To be safe I wouldn't use your name again for 8 days. Just call money gram cancel the transaction and you can go back and pick the money up.

it's not moneygram but the people picking the money up I believe. also this goes for if you want to cashout also. If you use your name say Today and want a payout you must wait the 4 or 8 days to be able to use your name again. Then in time moneygram will black list you happened to me.

Further, I dealt with 3 different MoneyGram people on the phone and I told the first 2 that I was going to do other transactions and asked if I could consolidate so that I wouldn't have to keep running back and forth. They both said no, but none of them mentioned that any subsequent transaction WOULD NOT GO THROUGH. Why would they let me go ahead and proceed with transactions that would be null and void anyway? That's really poor customer service

The books said it was a MoneyGram thing, not on their end

What do you mean by that? What's the actual issue? "the pick up point" or "the people picking the money up" is vague and ambiguous. I just want to avoid this issue in the future if I have to get down on something

If u send under 800 u dont have to show ID so use a fake name. just tell your book what name u r going to use. moneyGram sux use WesternUnion if u can.

Fuk Money Gram AND Western Union.

Both will blacklist you. Get a ******** card, a CREDIT UNION account and learn how to use bank wires. All good.
