I have lost the edge the last 6 months and have no clue why, I think it is kind of boring now and also no you cannot beat the games.

#4the thing with guys like us is that we have seen almost everything and its as if we know too much. When we look at a game we can see why WVU will crush USF and why USF would beat WVU. Then we have to pick and it still seems 50/50. However, I believe pick the winner and u got the spread winner too. Also I believe you have to bet good teams. I know that sounds stupid but if you bet cincy last night then u can figure it out. And that happens more often than not when u bet against good teams. Nebraska/USC??? see my point. Dont go making a team better than they are and at the same time convince urself there opposition is just mortal.Comment -

#5It's probably a good thing to have reached that state of boredom, because game-to-game excitement gets in the way of objective capping, and dependency on that excitement leads to addictive behavior.
You have to take a long term perspective. Same as in the stock market. Dow is now over 14K... as predicted here when it was about 1000 pts lower a month or so ago. Sports betting and investing in the markets are equally boring. It's about the money, not the excitement. The fulfillment is in sharpening your edge, not in getting a high or low off a game. If you want excitement buy yourself a pinball machine. Or rob a bank.Comment -
