They always do super in the reg season ikid. They def do have great weapons, you are right just tonight everyone was cold it seemed except for Leonard. 1 person can't carry a team ( less Jordan / Kobe / LBJ ) and they didn't tonight. Lost in OT

They are different this year with defense - should of won this game honestly- kyrie had 1 of those nights- Boston would be tremendously dumb if they can’t re-sign kyrie - this dude is 1 of the most lethal scorers in the nba

never watched him much in san antonio except playoffs. boring team. he deferred alot then too. now its his show. and at this moment in time he is a better player than lebron james. his efficiency on offense is great. his defense is always on point. lebron has already quit at defense pretty much. lebron has better vision, but as far as baketball iq, kawhi is on the same level on both sides of the ball. i see toronto get him the ball with 4 seconds on shot clock multiple times and he still finds a decent shot. Celtics cannot beat this team in a series.

Raptors are never gonna win a championship with Kyle Lowry as their 2nd best player, plain and simple. Lowry isn't a top 25 player.

Boston will be really good once they figure out the rotation- they would trade Hayward right now if there’s any takers - obviously they don’t need him- and he’s Taking up other guys minutes because of his massive contract

Hayward is better than anyone on that team not named Irving. Give the guy 40-50 games to get back.

I see friction already between him and Leonard too.

If Toronto has a Wingstop there's a chance he'll stay.

Couple of those fouls at the end of game called against the Raptors were pathetic. Especially the loose ball foul at the very end which created the OT. Refs literally put the fix in with those calls. I wish Leonard sunk his J with .7 seconds left then punched the ref out haha.

The Bulls 39-point loss to the Raptors tonight tied for the 9th worst loss in franchise history.

Melo is better than a lot of dudes on houston. chemistry matters. he is stunting tatum's growth, who will be a supremely better player than him.

While I agree that Hayward needs more time to get “back”, I think Jayson Tatum is the clear #2 on the Celtics. I don’t think it’s particularly close between Tatum and the #3 guy, whoever that guy is.

Despite playing only half their games so far this season with both of their All-Stars – Kawhi Leonard and Kyle Lowry – in the lineup, the Raptors have one of the NBA’s best records. Their 30-12 mark puts them a half-game ahead of the 28-11 Bucks, though they technically trail Milwaukee by percentage points.
With Lowry now back in the lineup after battling back and hip issues and Leonard potentially ready to start playing in back-to-backs soon, the Raptors are well positioned for a big second half. And the team’s performance the rest of the way – and in the postseason – could go a long way toward determining whether Leonard remains in Toronto beyond this season, a subject Chris Mannix explores in his latest piece for SI.com.
Mannix’s article features several interesting notes and tidbits on Kawhi and the Raptors, so we’ll round up a few highlights here:
According to Mannix, the Raptors are prepared to offer Leonard a five-year, maximum-salary offer – or any other deal he’s interested in – this offseason, and don’t view that sort of an investment as a risk.
While Leonard’s upcoming free agency is rarely discussed in the Raptors’ locker room, everyone knows how important his decision will be in determining the future of the franchise, per Mannix. “We need him to stay,” Serge Ibaka said. “He keeps everybody safe — no one is safe if he leaves.”
Mannix writes that Raptors officials have privately acknowledged that the Thunder’s success in retaining George emboldened them to roll the dice on Leonard. Of course, George’s bond with Russell Westbrook contributed in large part to PG13’s decision to remain in Oklahoma City. It remains to be seen if Kyle Lowry can be that same sort of recruiter, given his “frosty” relationship with Ujiri, who traded away his best friend DeRozan.

Raptors have some good wins with him and/or Lowry missing from the line up. They are solid this year.

Here is what I see with this young raps team
The young core group that has been together in a all these failed playoff series are improving
Siakem, wright, OG, van vliet, Powell
Siakem has shown the biggest improvement giving the raps another offensive weapon that they have always needed.
They have a tonne of length, adding kawi and Danny has given them tremendous guarding ability especially at the ends of games where they have been playing zone
Raps new coach has utilized the centre position very well, before Valentunous got hurt both centres were playing alot better than previous years. Ibaka has been playing out of this world and looks like ibaka from the okc days
This one is obvious but I will mention it anyway - Kawi is a much better overall efficient scorer than Derozen. Demar needs 30-35 shots a game to score the same amount that kawi gets with about 25 shots per game not to mention the defensive upgrade.
Kawi still has to learn the raps offense a bit better and get back to 100% healthy playing back to backs so beleive it or not this team should still improve if they stay healthy. I also agree on Kawi only playing this year in t.o. but if they can get in the finals who knows?
