60k??? Damn. That's the cool thing, Cops are the easiest to sue if you have a problem (just go to the city building, they have a form and everything). Plus, write down their name and plates, when they pull you over and you can get them fired. There's always new recruits out of academy and the city likes to keep em turning over.

very strange story to say the least. back in December I went back home to western pa to visit my family, for the holidays. I exchanged info with ITH awhile before that, because I knew he lived in the area. He had told me that he was working in the Mental Health field. Which is what I used to do in that area, and he seemed to know some of the names of people I had worked with. So we made arrangements to get a beer and have some wings at a great place called "Quaker steak and lube"

he calls while i'm on my way, and says he doesn't think he can make it. "somthing had come up with work" so I go anyways, and call an old softball buddy that lived nearby and we meet up at the joint and have a few beers and dinner and catch up on shit. 2 hrs later I get a text from ITH, saying he could meet up in a little bit. I told him I was already there. 10 mins later he comes strutting into the restaurant, wearing a fuking Police Uniform. I thought it was a joke, he was ordering drinks for everyone at the bar, yelling at waitresses. Guy didn't take a drink himself (maybe because he was in uniform?)

but he smelled like alcohol anyways. after listening to "war" stories about being on the force. (seriously how dangerous can being a cop in Western pa be?) I concluded that this guy was quite a bit unstable, and possibly dangerous. My buddy got out of there fast, I stayed and finished my last beer, and listened to a few more stories of cop beat downs, and a few stories of big gambling wins and then made an excuse to leave. ITH tried to get me to meet up at a seedy, strip club off of 1-80 called the body shop later that night, he said he wanted to go home and change and get his "off duty gun", whatever that meant. I told him my grandmother was expecting us to play scrabble (she's dead sorry ITH)

I called my buddy who works for the mental health organization that ITH had told he was gonna be working for. because I couldn't figure out how he new the names of the people I knew there, without working there.... but I was afraid to ask ITH myself, because it seemed like it might set him off.

my buddy, got very quiet when I mentioned this guys real name. He told me that, that this guy had badly beaten a client of theirs last year, who was a child molester. the guy had been "clean" as far as anyone knew from messing with any kids since he got out of jail. But a case came up where, a 8 year old girl was raped and the client was the prime suspect. Apparently, ITH took it upon himself to get some quick justice, while the investigation was still going on. But the molester was afraid to tell the authorities that he was beaten by an "off duty" cop. Because he told him that he would kill him.... he only told the trush to my buddy the counselor 1month after getting out of the hospital.

anyways, been wanting to get this off my chest for awhile.... really strange and scary stuff.... I think i'm safe here in Chicago. but still feel a little worried putting this out there.... But I think the truth should be told....
