Edwin Jackson -200

This guy shouldn't be a -200 favor against anyone. The most overrated pitcher ever all based on hype and a few good months last year. Guy is 38-40 in his career with an ERA of 4.67. He has walked 300 batters and given up 720 hits in 675 career innings. His ERA's from 2004 on:

2004- 7.30 ERA
2005- 6.28 ERA
2006- 5.45 ERA
2007- 5.76 ERA
2008- 4.42 ERA
2009- 3.62 ERA

So 2009 was his only good year. Was it actually a good year or just a hot start? Pre All Star: 7-4 2.52 ERA
Post All Star: 6-5 5.07 ERA

His ERA by month:
April- 2.25 ERA
May- 2.34 ERA
June- 2.91 ERA
July- 3.16 ERA
August- 4.45 ERA
September- 5.08 ERA
October- 14.40 ERA

His first start this year wasn't good. Guy is garbage.

He's pretty young and has good stuff. 3.62 ERA is solid for pitching in the AL. You can call him overrated, but you have to look beyond just the stats...

What would you like me to look at? How many guys like this have we seen over the years? Guys with great stuff who are great throwers but can't pitch for shit. You can say what you want but you can't justify to me in less then 5 paragraphs why he is -200.

He can throw 98 mph and can throw his change for a strike on any count. Jackson is a much better pitcher now that he was the majority of his career. Also he is one of the most talented hitting pitchers in the game. Also the Pirates did not win anywhere near 1/3 of their road games last year. Not taking Arizona but I think the line is accurate.
